Medium hot air balloon for big dreamers

This time I show you a medium hot air balloon mobile, made with synthetic leather, matte and soft to the touch. Designed for big dreamers and their home decor.

The diameter of the balloon is 6 inches. Stars, clouds and drops are hand sewn.

Three is a magic number

Hanging mobile with three mini hot air balloons and a wood star! Orange, yellow and green balloons, perfect for all babies!

Everything starts with a few scraps of fabric, in this case multiplied for three! :)

Slowly the scraps of fabric become something different, familiar 3d shapes...

For an amazing result must be taken care of every detail! :P

Mini starry mobile

In my lab have just landed the mini hot air balloons, starry mobiles to lull little babies into sweet dreams (for adults too... shhhh)!

Some details of the top of the balloon, where is also the loop to hang up the mobile, and of the little basket, well finished outside and inside.

Just to give an idea of the mobile in motion... Any child will be fascinated by the geometric shapes and hanging elements. ^_^

The hot air balloon manufacturing requires a lot of time and patience, every detail is done with care and dedication. Only the passion and love for my work allows me to create highly sought after items. What do you think about it?

Who or what keeps high in the sky stars and clouds?

Stars and clouds detail made with plain and printed cotton fabrics.

A very important step in the realization of an hot air balloon is the choice of fabrics and color scheme.
It's necessary to think about the feelings that may return once the mobile is finished...

This is an 8 segments balloon, with soft stars and clouds. Its diameter is about 7.9 inches.

New hot air balloon mobile!! New order from Olalla! Yeah! ♥

In the next pictures some steps of my work. All the pieces ready to be sewn... The balloon made from 16 strips of plain and printed cotton fabric and me from the top, sewing a little star! ^_^
