The Teepee, indian tent for children, made by me or... by you!

Hey! How are you?
I'm here again to show you the last big, big, big project! My Teepee!

Ideal for children, for four-legged friends and adults. Parents can play and discover with their children an exceptional people, the native north Americans of the Great Plains, in which the kids were pampered, spoiled, protected and free.
Through the game they learned the arts, the technique, the traditions, the collective culture. Even today, with this tent, the game can be fun and learning at the same time.

What is the particularity of this project?

First of all its design, simple, clean and respectful of the original teepees.
The structure is composed of 6 bamboo canes tied together. The bamboo is light, durable and beautiful to look at, recalls the irregularity of the original rods. A hexagonal support placed between the canes ensures stability to the structure and keeps the cover always well taut. The teepee stability is essential for safe play and securety!
The tent cover is made from a single piece of fabric sewn by hand and closed on the front by wooden pins. A door is rolled over the passage that can be opened at the base to facilitate the entry of the little ones or simply to widen the opening.

The second peculiarity is that I can make this tent to order or leave you part or all the fun: I studied a tutorial in detail to accompany you in the creation of a beautiful Teepee for your children's bedroom, to play Indians in the garden, on the beach, or wherever you want! A step by step tutorial with numerous clear and detailed pictures to sew the tent and make the structure or while you sew the tent I can make the structure for you. What do you think?

Last important feature is that you can choose between three different sizes (Small, Medium and Large) and between three different materials for the cover (if you choose the tent made by me):

• unbleached cotton, light and cheap,
• taupe-colored linen, a medium thickness and fresh fabric,
• unbleached, heavy and resistant canvas.

The next step is all mine: it goes to the practical part and I need a lot of concentration, care and patience. I prepare the chosen pattern, trace it on the fabric and cut every part that will compose your mobile.

La fase successiva è tutta mia: si passa alla parte pratica in cui sono necessarie molta concentrazione, cura e pazienza. Preparo il modello scelto, lo riporto sulla stoffa e taglio ogni parte che andrà a comporre la vostra giostrina.

I filati che ho utilizzato sono i fantastici Tre Cerchi in 100% cotone della MEZ Cucirini!

This hot air balloon was made for a baby called Bianca and the client asked to me if it could be personalized with the name of the baby.
I'm sincere, I didn't know how to do it, but then I got an idea: with a stencil I could transfer the name on the balloon and so I did!
The novelty is therefore unveiled, and anyone who wants to do so can ask to make his gift more unique with a name, as in this case, or with a short message that I will print by hand.

Questa mongolfiera è stata realizzata per una bimba di nome Bianca e chi ne ha fatto richiesta ha domandato se poteva esser personalizzata con il nome della piccola.
Lì per lì, sono sincera, non avevo idea di come fare, ma poi si è accesa una lampadina: uno stencil realizzato su misura per riportare il nome su uno spicchio sarebbe stato l'ideale e così ho fatto!
La novità è dunque svelata e chi volesse da oggi può richiedere di rendere ancor più unico il suo dono con un nome, come in questo caso, o un breve messaggio che io poi stamperò a mano.
