Quando inviate una richiesta per una mongolfiera personalizzata la prime cose che stabiliamo assieme sono la misura, il modello e le stoffe. A tal proposito seleziono delle combinazioni di tessuti in base ai colori scelti per la piccola o il piccolo a cui verrà donata la giostrina, invio un'anteprima tipo questa...

The next step is all mine: it goes to the practical part and I need a lot of concentration, care and patience. I prepare the chosen pattern, trace it on the fabric and cut every part that will compose your mobile.
The thread I used is the fantastic Tre Cerchi 100% Cotton of MEZ Cucirini!

La fase successiva è tutta mia: si passa alla parte pratica in cui sono necessarie molta concentrazione, cura e pazienza. Preparo il modello scelto, lo riporto sulla stoffa e taglio ogni parte che andrà a comporre la vostra giostrina.

I filati che ho utilizzato sono i fantastici Tre Cerchi in 100% cotone della MEZ Cucirini!

This hot air balloon was made for a baby called Bianca and the client asked to me if it could be personalized with the name of the baby.
I'm sincere, I didn't know how to do it, but then I got an idea: with a stencil I could transfer the name on the balloon and so I did!
The novelty is therefore unveiled, and anyone who wants to do so can ask to make his gift more unique with a name, as in this case, or with a short message that I will print by hand.

Questa mongolfiera è stata realizzata per una bimba di nome Bianca e chi ne ha fatto richiesta ha domandato se poteva esser personalizzata con il nome della piccola.
Lì per lì, sono sincera, non avevo idea di come fare, ma poi si è accesa una lampadina: uno stencil realizzato su misura per riportare il nome su uno spicchio sarebbe stato l'ideale e così ho fatto!
La novità è dunque svelata e chi volesse da oggi può richiedere di rendere ancor più unico il suo dono con un nome, come in questo caso, o un breve messaggio che io poi stamperò a mano.

Taglia, cuci, imbottisci, rifinisci e dopo diverse ore di lavoro il gioco è fatto! 
A questo punto scatto e invio delle foto della vostra creazione, prenoto il corriere e, se siete in Italia, in un paio di giorni la giostrina è a casa vostra!

Dolls & dolls

My first dolls.

A friend came one day and asked me a special gift for the birthday of his girlfriend, a doll that looked like her.

In my book, full of drawings that are just waiting to be made, there are also them, sketches of dolls... So why not? One day or another I would have approached the project.

The dolls are soon became two, also him wanted his rag doll. Two weeks between prototypes and experiments on how to make the body, hair and eyes... but in the end I did it!!!

Here they are in all their splendor!! I am satisfied and the guys super happy ... yuppie!!! ^ _ ^

Le mie prime bambole...

Un amico è venuto da me un giorno e mi ha chiesto un regalo speciale per il compleanno della sua ragazza, una bambola che le somigliasse.

Nel mio book di idee pieno di disegni che non aspettano altro di essere realizzati c'erano anche loro, degli schizzi di bambole... Quindi perché no? Un giorno o l'altro avrei comunque affrontato il progetto.

Da una le bambole sono diventate due, anche lui ha voluto il suo sosia di pezza. Due settimane ben spese fra prototipi e sperimenti su come realizzare il corpo, gli occhi e i capelli... ma alla fine ce l'ho fatta!!

Eccole nel loro splendore!! Io sono soddisfatta e i ragazzi super felici... yuppi!!! ^_^

Neve

Recently I received the request of a personalized hot air balloon, a special baby mobile that tells a story. For this reason on it there are hanging many things: a heart, a moon, a cloud, a star, a football (which I assume will remain the only one of its kind :P), a snowflake and the letters of the name NEVE. After receiving the product, the girl who commissioned me the work called me to thank of the balloon. She was so happy and her joy touched me... I want give you some shots of the project. :)

Poco tempo fa mi è stata commissionata una mongolfiera molto particolare, racconta una storia e per questo appese troviamo tante cose: un cuore, una luna, una nuvola, una stella, un pallone da calcio (che suppongo rimarrà l'unico nel suo genere piccolo com'è :P), un fiocco di neve e le lettere del nome NEVE.

Dopo aver ricevuto il pacco contenente la mongolfiera, la ragazza che l'aveva richiesta mi ha chiamata per ringraziarmi a voce della sua bellezza, era così felice che la sua gioia mi ha commossa... Voglio regalarvi alcuni scatti del progetto. :)
